Why maintain hygiene in a cleanroom?
Cleanrooms are isolated environments used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, electronics, laboratories and healthcare. These spaces require strict hygiene control to prevent contamination that can affect product quality or safety.
Even with standard procedures for disinfection and cleaning, it is often not enough to maintain the required level of hygiene – especially not if cleaning takes place in the same area as production. In such cases, particles can easily transfer from contaminated zones to clean zones.
Contact-free hygiene solutions
At Natdis, we specialise in solutions based on UVC light and air-blow technology to reduce microbial load on surfaces and equipment. These solutions are contact-free and do not require the use of chemical cleaning agents, which can help minimise exposure to traditional disinfectants. When an area is treated with UVC light, it can be used immediately after disinfection, as the process does not require vemtilation or drying time – this reduces downtime and interruptions in production flow.
Hygiene sluices for cleanrooms

We offer hygiene sluices that support controlled entry into cleanrooms. These systems are tailored to the type of contamination being addressed and are available in the following configurations:
Air-based systems, UVC light systems, Combined air and UVC light systems
Each sluice is designed for either equipment, personnel or both, depending on the operational needs.
Sluice for personnel treatment
When personnel need access to a cleanroom, it is essential to use a sluice system designed for human decontamination. We offer sluices equipped with air jets to remove particles from clothing and skin. These systems include internal HEPA filtration to ensure clean air during entry. UVC light is not used in these sluices, as it is not suitable for direct human exposure.

Material and equipment sluices
For transferring goods and equipment into cleanrooms, more intensive decontamination may be required. Our systems use UVC light alone or in combination with air. Multiple sizes are available to accommodate both small and large items.

Combined sluice systems
If both personnel and materials need to enter the cleanroom through the same access point, our 2-in-1 sluice system is ideal. It supports both human and object decontamination, ensuring all entries meet hygiene requirements before entering the cleanroom.
