At Natdis we manufacture Danish-produced and customized UVC solutions for the pharmaceutical sector, based on extensive experience. Our solutions are used in sluice areas, production areas and cleanrooms.
Sluice areas
Sluices function as the first barrier to prevent contamination of sensitive areas during zone transitions. UVC can be installed in existing sluices but can also be supplied as complete solutions for both personnel and goods. A typical function for personnel access is that the light turns on after passage to ensure a consistently low level of microbiology. For goods sluices, the surfaces of items can be illuminated up to 360°, with process logging for use in system validation.
Production areas
In production areas, stable operation, high uptime, and documented hygiene are essential. Natdis’ UVC solutions support this through continuous and automatic disinfection of surface areas. In production areas, customized UVC solutions can target microbiological reduction without the use of chemicals, contact, or waiting time. UVC can be integrated into both open and closed systems and used in all types of risk areas.
Cleanrooms
Cleanrooms require stable, documentable disinfection methods that can be validated. Natdis develops UVC systems specifically designed for cleanrooms from CNC to class B, where requirements for material selection, operational reliability, and controlled function are particularly high. At Natdis, we have extensive experience with cleanrooms and the associated requirements. The benefits of using UVC in cleanrooms include fast and effective inactivation of bacteria, viruses, and all organisms with DNA/RNA. By using UVC disinfection, we can also reduce downtime in critical processes.
Our UVC equipment is installed in all types of cleanroom classes and is typically used as PLC-controlled solutions, where systems are monitored, controlled, and logged according to the customer’s own criteria.
Solutions for cleanrooms
Wall-C
Wall-C
is an example of a lamp developed for and installed in class B rooms, designed as a fully enclosed unit in stainless steel 316. The lamp provides a high and targeted level of disinfection, which ensures effectiveness with as little as 5 minutes of operation and therefore causes minimal intervention in access to areas with UVC lamps.
Personal safety is important, which is why the UVC systems are used with PIR sensors, door contacts, acoustic/visual alarms, and process stops, all of which help secure the areas where the light is used.
Move-C
Flexible needs are solved with Move-C.
When needs change or require flexibility, disinfection tasks can be solved with a mobile unit such as the Move-C 250 PIR. It is developed for cleanroom classes and is a user-friendly and safe solution. Equipped with an alarm, PIR sensors in 4 directions, and fixed programs, it provides a safe and effective solution.
